Party spokesperson Arjun Narsingh KC told reporters after the meeting, it is not appropriate for us to form a para-military youth wing at a time when we are demanding the youth wings of other parties be dissolved.

The plans to declare a para-military youth squad in Barhabise, Sindhupalchok on Saturday was cancelled after Koirala's intervention.

Party leaders Sher Bahadur Deuba, Khum Bahadur Khadka and Dr. Ram Sharan Mahat had supported the formation of the youth squad. nepalnews.com
