Budget must be introduced to attract foreign aid: Minister Sukla 30.10.10

At a time when UCPN (Maoist) has vowed to stop the caretaker government from introducing the budget, minister for education Sarvendra Nath Sukla Saturday warned that Nepal would deprive itself of foreign aid in absence of the budget.
Addressing a seminar in Lumbini, minister Sukla urged all political parties to support the government to present the budget considering the worsening financial situation in the country.

He also mentioned that some of the donors including the Asian Development Bank have already warned that they would be compelled to cut grants if the budget is not presented on time. nepalnews.com
