The government’s intention to make grade 9-12 secondary level has also been stated in the bill.
An official with the MoWCS told the daily that the bill states that the children have the right to free education till secondary level.
The bill is also intended to fulfill the government’s responsibility towards the children as stated in the International Convention on Child Rights to which Nepal is signatory to.
